This is a saddlebag and harness system. The packs securely attach and detach from the harness. The harness is made-to-order, fully tailored to your dog’s measurements. The packs seal with velcro, roll down, and clip down. READ FULL SPECS HERE

I am not rushing any orders. I carry no inventory. When you place your order, you go into the line, with many people ahead of you. Thank you for your patience.

Color Scheme: We are making Bramble Ramble (Forest with Wine), Campfire (Blaze with Red), Wildflower (Hot Pink with Purple), and Solid Purple with no change-ups.

Measuring: the measuring guide is at the bottom of this page, when you scroll below the order form. Use a flexible ribbon tailor's tape. If you do not have one, use a *static* non-stretchable ribbon/webbing and lay that onto a ruler after holding and marking it around your dog. Please use inches to the half or whole inch. Please do not use metric nor feet and inches. For #s 1, 2, 3 and 6 you are measuring the circumference, all the way around your dog, just as you would measure your own waist. Pull the tape with light tension around your dog. Don't give excessive room in your measurements, try to make them as accurate to your dog's actual size, with thick fur pressed down.

Long Distance Hikers: We work fit-miracles for dogs. However, it is still imperative that you order 2 months ahead of your departure date and you dry run the gear to test fit. Load the pack up, do a 3-nighter, walk a couple miles in the rain. Let's get any alterations accomplished before your thru.

****Due to the complex nature of our work flow with so many variables across many different orders at once, we do not do change-ups after an order is placed. Make sure you have carefully selected the pack size and color. Make sure your shipping address is where you will be in a month when we ship. We print shipping labels directly from what you typed in the shipping field. If measurements look really off to me based on breed and weight, I will contact you, please make sure the email you provide is one you check regularly. If there is any detail you need me to know, make sure it's in the order notes, even if we've had previous emails. Thank you for your help in keeping our workflow concise.

Describe the shape of your dogs chest: Barrel, Average, Narrow/Deep. Your dog's chest is "narrow" if when you look at your dog front-on, the legs seem close together and there's a deep cup/fin shape to the underneath of the ribcage. Maximum of 100 characters

Please use a flexible tailor's style tape measure. I prefer you use inches.

Measurement 1. Chest at the largest circumference behind the front legs
Measurement 2. Chest at mid-back
Measurement 3. Loin, the narrow circumference at the stomach

Measurement 4. Have your dog stand with his/her weight centered on the front leg closest to you. The front leg should be perpendicular to the level ground: your dog should not have the leg closest to you stepping forward or backward. Start the tape centered on the protruding chest bone and run it under the dog, stopping just behind the front leg, just past the armpit. This measurement is typically 7" for a 50-55lb dog.

Measurement 5. From just behind your dog's front legs to where the ribs start to turn upwards at the sternum. This is about 6" for a 50lb dog.

Measurement 6. Circumference of neck

The best way to know how a particular bag size will look on your dog is to cut out a piece of paper to one of the dimensions below and hold it up to your dog's chest with the leading edge positioned just behind the front leg.

Extra-Extra Small: recommended for dog weighing 8-15lb: 6" wide x 4" hang height x 2" thick
Extra Small: recommended for dog weighing 15-25lb: 7" wide x 4" hang height x 2" thick
Small Size: recommended for dog weighing 25-45lbs: 8" wide x 5" hang height x 2" thick.
Medium Size: recommended for dog weighing 45-65lb: 8" wide x 7" hang height x 3.5" thick.
Large Size: recommended for dog weighing 60-75lb: 9" wide x 7" hang height x 3.5" thick.
Extra Large: recommended for dog weighing 75lbs and up: 10" wide x 8" hang height x 3.5" thick.
